When pupils need more targeted support, we provide the additional capacity to help them progress.
Atlas Tutoring Academy works with primary and secondary schools to provide structured, personalised English and maths tuition for pupils who need additional support beyond their usual classroom provision.
The pupils we support have different circumstances and learning needs, but the underlying need is often the same: a young person who would benefit from more individualised teaching, greater consistency or additional time to develop the skills they need to succeed.
Schools may refer pupils who:
Are falling behind in English or maths and need targeted catch-up
Have specific curriculum gaps or areas of difficulty
Need additional preparation for SATs, GCSEs or other examinations
Would benefit from small-group or 1:1 intervention
Are struggling to engage or build confidence in their learning
Are returning to education following a period of absence
Need additional academic support alongside existing SEND, pastoral or inclusion provision
We work closely with SENCOs, inclusion leads, heads of year, pastoral teams and school leaders to understand each pupil's circumstances, current attainment and learning priorities before tutoring begins.
How We Can Support Your Students
Individualised tuition designed around each student’s unique learning profile, strengths and needs. Our tutors support students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH and speech, language and communication needs, while working towards the outcomes identified in their EHCP.

We offer flexible online and face-to-face tuition, allowing schools to choose the approach that best suits their pupils, timetable and circumstances. Whether delivered virtually or in person, our one-to-one and small-group sessions provide personalised, structured support tailored to each pupil’s needs.

Small Group Tuition
We provide structured small-group tuition for pupils who would benefit from focused academic support alongside their classroom learning. Groups are carefully considered around pupils’ needs and learning objectives, allowing tutors to provide targeted teaching while encouraging confidence, participation and collaboration

At Atlas Tutoring Academy, we believe effective tuition is about more than simply delivering lessons. We work closely with schools, SENCOs, pastoral teams, families and other professionals to ensure that support is purposeful, responsive and centred around each individual student. Every student starts from a different place, so we take the time to understand where they are, what may be preventing progress and what they need to move forward.

We create a tailored learning plan based on the student's starting point, identified needs and goals, incorporating EHCP, PEP or other relevant targets where appropriate.

We carefully match each student with a tutor based on their subject expertise, experience, teaching approach and individual needs.
Support
Our involvement doesn't end when the tutor is introduced. We maintain communication, monitor progress and adapt provision as the student's needs develop, keeping schools and families informed.
