After graduating from University College London with a Master's degree in Psychology in 2018, I worked within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services as an Assistant Psychologist, supporting the assessment and diagnosis of young people with ASD and ADHD. Alongside this role, I worked as a mentor, helping young people build confidence, manage anxiety through healthy coping strategies, navigate school and university transitions, and develop the resilience needed to overcome challenges.

Hi, I'm James, a mathematics tutor with over 7 years of experience, during which I've taught in excess of 3,500 hours to over 100 different students. 

Teaching mathematics is my passion, and it just so happens to be my full-time job! I have extensive experience in teaching all of the major exam boards for Maths (Edexcel, OCR, OCR MEI, AQA, WJECEduqas, IGCSE) and I know their exam structures back to front. 

As for my credentials, I have an MA in Philosophy, in which I specialised in the Philosophy of Mathematics, Language and Logic. I also achieved an A* in A-Level Maths, an A in A-Level Further Maths, as well as a Grade 9 at GCSE.  

Over my years of experience teaching at all levels of Maths, I've truly managed to master a Socratic methodology that truly gets the best out of every student I teach.
